Welcome to the Burlington Community Education Department, or “CED”!
Our goal is to provide lifetime learning opportunities for our community and the surrounding area. You will find opportunities to develop a new skill, practice your favorite sport or learn a new one, enhance your health, or discover other hidden talents and abilities!
CED is a department of the Burlington Area School District celebrating lifelong learning and recreation.

Are you looking for a healthy, interactive, and enjoyable summer for your child? "Summer Rec" offers a variety of daily activities, both inside and outside. Our days guarantee lots of laughing, running, playing, and new friendships. Come and join the fun! Our staff is excited and looking forward to spending the summer with your child.
Registration must be completed online. You can register for a full week -OR- choose the individual day(s) that your child will attend. If possible, please register 48 hours in advance of the week/day(s) that your child will attend.
The Burlington Community Education Department ("CED"), in conjunction with the Wisconsin Park & Recreation Association, sells tickets to numerous area attractions and theme parks at discounted prices.

We are looking for people willing to share their skills and talents with the Burlington community. You do not have to be a licensed teacher. Enthusiasm combined with knowledge of a subject or skill in a special interest area will be enough to get you started as a Community Education instructor.
We’ll help you find a space best suited for you, tell you what to expect,promote your class, and do all we can to help you succeed.
