CLICK HERE for informational packet explaining how your 5K-6th grade child(ren) can participate in Dyer School’s Learning Fair, which will take place on Thursday, March 9th 4:00-5:00 PM. Projects may be brought to school on Wednesday, March 8th from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Dyer students will be viewing the projects during the day on Thursday. Participants are then required to attend the Fair on Thursday evening from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. to stand by their projects and answer questions. Students may do a project in any subject area: Science, Math, Social Studies, Language Arts, Music, Art, and Phy Ed. All types of projects are welcomed and encouraged.
In this packet you will find an entry form, Learning Fair Rules, a worksheet on how to develop a project, and a list of project suggestions. Students do not have to complete projects on the list.
Once your child has decided to do a project, he or she must return the Learning Fair Entry Form ( included in this packet). This form is due on Friday, February 10th. The form indicates that your child is committed to completing a project. If working with a partner or group, each member must turn in a signed form.
