Community of Learners
Burlington Area School District is a professional community of learners committed to continuous improvement. We strive to create the best learning environment for its students, as well as a supportive environment for its staff and families. Our ultimate goal is the career readiness of our students - whether that means pursuing a job, college, or military after high school. We approach teaching around the core concepts of best instructional practices, universal access, and a learning culture as described below.

- Universal Access- All students have access to the core curriculum and are given the necessary supports.
- Learning Culture- Grade level essential skills and proficiency standards are clearly stated so that student progress can be monitored.
